Our dream for Birmingham is that God’s reality would be lived out in the face of the broken reality of the world around us. The call of the church is to evoke a new and alternative perception of the dominant culture around us.
The Church empowered by the Spirit is being ushered into an intimate knowledge of God, that gives rise to an uncommon ability to act in accordance with the future reality of the kingdom coming. A future reality, secured by Jesus, that begins to emerge in the here and now as a people who practice the way of Jesus together and experience a deeply formative life together.

Instead of being a part of the consuming culture, the church stands uniquely poised to create - to create space and opportunities for a fallen humanity. We create so people can encounter the radical new way of being that comes in the kingdom. We create alongside the Creator to feel the expanse of eternity in and around us.
An all new way of living as citizens of a future reality of the kingdom is at hand. Life is not wasted, as heaven is not all that far, together we are a people becoming who we are.
