Welcome and the Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

Call to Worship
Psalm 26
1 Vindicate me, Lord,
for I have led a blameless life;
I have trusted in the Lord
and have not faltered.
2 Test me, Lord, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;
3 for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
4 I do not sit with the deceitful,
nor do I associate with hypocrites.
5 I abhor the assembly of evildoers
and refuse to sit with the wicked.
6 I wash my hands in innocence,
and go about your altar, Lord,
7 proclaiming aloud your praise
and telling of all your wonderful deeds.
8 Lord, I love the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells.
9 Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
my life with those who are bloodthirsty,
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,
whose right hands are full of bribes.
11 I lead a blameless life;
deliver me and be merciful to me.
12 My feet stand on level ground;
in the great congregation I will praise the Lord.

Joy Will Come
The shadow has no power over us
For we will trust in the Lord
And through the night we have a song to sing
A hope that we can cling to
Joy will come in the morning
Joy will come in the morning
God is our rock and our salvation
Joy will come
Sister, fix your eyes upon the hills
For surely help will come
Brother, we will take our refuge in
The God who knows our suffering
Joy will come in the morning
Joy will come in the morning
God is our rock and our salvation
Joy will come
We will rise up
We will rise up in the morning
We will rise up
We will rise up in the morning
For we will trust in the Lord
And through the night we have a song to sing
A hope that we can cling to
Joy will come in the morning
Joy will come in the morning
God is our rock and our salvation
Joy will come
Sister, fix your eyes upon the hills
For surely help will come
Brother, we will take our refuge in
The God who knows our suffering
Joy will come in the morning
Joy will come in the morning
God is our rock and our salvation
Joy will come
We will rise up
We will rise up in the morning
We will rise up
We will rise up in the morning
Establish the Work of Our Hands
If You don’t build it, we labor in vain,
Without Your Spirit, we stand with no strength.
I know my life is passing away,
but the works of Your hands
are what will remain
Let the favor of the Lord rest upon us
O Lord, establish the work of our hands
O Lord, establish the work of our hands
Teach us to number the length of our days,
Pour out Your power, we’ll pour out Your praise.
Teach us to run, to finish the race,
for only what’s done in love will remain.
Let the favor of the Lord rest upon us
O Lord, establish the work of our hands
O Lord, establish the work of our hands
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
Giving Confession
We confess, Father, just as it is written that you have distributed freely, you have given to the poor, and your righteousness endures forever.
You have given us freedom and salvation in Jesus.
You have given us wisdom and power in the Spirit.
All that we have has come from you, and by your grace may you continue to enrich us in every way,
that we might be generous in every way, giving you thanks that others might see and know
the Love of Christ within us and the glorious mystery of the Gospel.
Amen!
You have given us freedom and salvation in Jesus.
You have given us wisdom and power in the Spirit.
All that we have has come from you, and by your grace may you continue to enrich us in every way,

Amen!
You are Love and Love Alone
God and Father, great and Holy
Fearing not we come to thee
Fearing not though weak and lowly
For your love has set us free
By the blue sky bending over
By the green earth's flowery home
Teach us Lord the angel chorus
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone, you are
Though the worlds in flame should perish
Sun and stars in ruin fall
Trust in thee our hearts should cherish
O Lord be our all in all
With your name the heavens praising
Angels hymns no sweeter tone
And the songs our hearts are raising
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone, you are
How perfectly our hearts are made for love
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone, you are
Father, Lord of bright creation
Holy, blest eternal Son
Spirit, source of inspiration
Glorious Godhead three in one
With the notes on high ascending
Breathe around the sapphire throne
May your sons the song be blending
You are love and love alone
Fearing not we come to thee
Fearing not though weak and lowly
For your love has set us free
By the blue sky bending over
By the green earth's flowery home
Teach us Lord the angel chorus
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone, you are
Though the worlds in flame should perish
Sun and stars in ruin fall
Trust in thee our hearts should cherish
O Lord be our all in all
With your name the heavens praising
Angels hymns no sweeter tone
And the songs our hearts are raising
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone, you are
How perfectly our hearts are made for love
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone
You are love and love alone, you are
Father, Lord of bright creation
Holy, blest eternal Son
Spirit, source of inspiration

With the notes on high ascending
Breathe around the sapphire throne
May your sons the song be blending
You are love and love alone
Sermon
Johnathon Miller // Romans 12:1-8
Johnathon Miller // Romans 12:1-8
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Lord of Lords
Beholding Your beauty is all that I long for
To worship You Jesus is my sole desire
For this very heart You have shaped for Your pleasure
Purposed to lift Your Name higher
Here in surrender in pure adoration
I enter Your courts with an offering of praise
I am Your servant come to bring You glory
As is fit for the work of Your hands
Now unto the Lamb Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of creation resounds with the song
Worship and praise Him
The Lord of lords
Spirit now living and dwelling within me
Keep my eyes fixed ever on Jesus' face
Let not the things of this world ever sway me
I'll run 'til I finish the race
Now unto the Lamb Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of eternity echoes the song
Worship and praise Him
The Lord of lords
Holy Lord
You are holy
Jesus Christ
Is the Lord
Now unto the Lamb Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of eternity echoes the song
Worship and praise Him
The Lord of lords
Now unto the Lamb Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
Call all the sinners to join in the song
Worship and praise Him

Before the Throne
Before the throne of God above I have a strong and perfect plea
A great high Priest whose Name is Love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in Heaven He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart
No tongue can bid me thence depart
When Satan tempts me to despair And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me
To look on Him and pardon me
Behold Him there the risen Lamb! My perfect spotless righteousness
The great unchangeable "I am"
The King of glory and of grace,
One with Himself I cannot die
My soul is purchased by His blood,
My life is hid with Christ on high
With Christ my Savior and my God
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me
To look on Him and pardon me
A great high Priest whose Name is Love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in Heaven He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart
No tongue can bid me thence depart
When Satan tempts me to despair And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there

My sinful soul is counted free
For God the just is satisfied

Benediction
Matthew 16:24-27
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.
