Home Base: Forming a Life Giving Family
When kids play hide and seek the only place of safety is “home base." This is a picture of the real life of a family. Families can be a child’s home base but many fail to integrate the Gospel into everyday life and as a result everybody is tired with no place to rest. Gordon Bals will be teaching you to work together as a marital team, to disarm the biggest enemy of nourishing family life, to grasp the nature of redemptive discipline, and to connect your children to the Lord and his Word for the long haul. Gordon is director of Daymark Pastoral Counseling in Birmingham, AL. He is also author of Common Ground: Discovering God’s Redemption in Your Marriage and adjunct faculty at Beeson Divinity School. He has been married to Dawn since 1990 and has 3 daughters.
Mosaic will be hosting a three session class at Avon Theater on Thursday nights starting at 6:00p. Join us Thursday April 27, May 4, and May 11.
