Thanks for reading. As you can tell, I've been away from the blog for awhile. I can see how that line could be a little confusing. What I meant was that in Christ, God took on the responsibility of redemption, and thereby, "made the world his mess to fix..." While God doesn't cause the mess, in Christ, he bears the full weight of it on the cross. Moreover, the resurrection points not only to who Jesus is, but also to the new creation that awaits all of creation. Sin (and our participation in it) has made the world a mess. God says, "I will fix it." In Christ, he has and will do just that. Hope this helps.

Great message, there are many times I strive to mimic Gods heart, but find myself failing as well.

Your last statement is confusing to me. Are you saying that God caused the mess in our world so that He can fix it?

Lord, I pray that the heartbeats of the Mosaic Community would be in time with the consistent beat of Jesus's heart and that we would let ALL that we do be done with Love (1 Corinthians 16:14). Give us pure hearts so that we can love each other in a way that is acceptable in your sight. May everything we say and do be a reflection of you love. Glory to the Most High God!
